Please supply a vet reference. It need not be a rabbit vet but must be someone you have used for your other animals. We will contact them direct if you will supply the vet’s name, address and and phone number.
Please make a list of questions that you may have regarding the care, health, and handling of rabbits. We will be happy to answer all questions and will continue to be available to you via phone after the adoption.
The adopting agent retains the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant based on the answers to the above questions.
Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check to Hop A Long Hollow. Each bunny adopted required an adoption fee of $75. This fee will cover the cost of the rabbit’s spay/neuter. Bonded pairs are $150.00
If for any reason you are unable to keep the rabbit who has been adopted you MUST return him/her to the shelter. Under no circumstances will the rabbit be harmed, hurt or released into the wild. The adoption fee will be forfeited.
